Project Description

School Smart Consultants were appointed by Woodbridge High School as Principle Designer and Clients Agent to oversee the refurbishment of the existing main reception. The existing layout provided poor sight lines for the reception staff and had limited space for visitors

After initial consultation with the School a design and specification was developed considering the clients requirements and budget. A new side screen was installed to provide vision between the reception office and main entrance doors, allowing the staff to be aware of all visitors arriving at the School. The existing stud partition to the front of the reception office was removed and moved back to create extra space to the waiting area providing a more usable space. Other areas to the reception which include a meeting room, reception office and waiting area received a cosmetic uplift receiving new flooring, ceiling, decoration and furniture.
